$a Penelitian kualitatif adalah jenis penelitian yang mencari tahu tentang pengalaman orang. Definisi ini mengutamakan 'pengalaman' sebagai topik penelitian kualitatif. $a Qualitative research is a type of research that seeks to find out about people's experiences. This definition prioritizes 'experience' as a qualitative research topic. The ability to get into people's minds is what makes qualitative research different. By implication, qualitative research is claimed to be concerned with subjective 'meaning' and therefore very different from quantitative research which pursues objective 'facts'. This conception is very common among established researchers and is often uncontested in the content of leading academic journals. Most journal articles assume a consensus on the following objectives of qualitative research: Understanding human experience; Treat interviews and focus groups as providing direct access to the contents of people's heads; Cultivate the researcher's empathy skills to achieve this. This book provides up-to-date and interdisciplinary insight into a variety of qualitative methods.
